A consumer behavior modelthat learns from deployment

SEISMO deploys short-form video into real markets and learns cohort behavior dynamics from what comes back. Not synthetic data, not panel surveys: deployment results are the only training signal.

01 · Architecture

Four steps make a loop; one loop is one round

Each round the model records the expected reactions first, then checks them after deployment. The weights update by exactly how much it was wrong.

ACTION · Deploy
D0 → D+3

Deploy hundreds of videos by condition

Creatives tagged by hook, angle and format are deployed by market, platform and time slot. Every condition is logged.

OBSERVATION
D+3 → D+14

Read the order of reactions, not the volume

The signal is the order and ratio in which views, completions, likes, comments, saves and shares occur.

DYNAMICS
D+14

Judge by four dynamics, assign confidence

Judge which of Propagation, Trust, Habit or Exploration moved this cohort, and assign a confidence level.

NEXT · Hypothesis
D+15

Seal the forecast, then the next round

We record and seal the next creatives’ reaction ranking first. The gap to reality feeds the next round.

02 · Four dynamics

The four dynamics the model learns

Budgets make views. Cohorts make dynamics. SEISMO estimates the mix of four dynamics from the order and ratio of reactions.

Definitions are drafts · calibrated in the pilot
PROPAGATIONDraft
Propagation

Shares and reposts grow before views do

Measured signals

Share/view ratio · second-degree reach · re-uploads

Question answered

“Who passes it to whom?”

TRUSTDraft
Trust

Saves and rewatches rise before shares

Measured signals

Save/like ratio · profile visits after completion · ingredient and evidence questions

Question answered

“What do they trust enough to buy?”

HABITDraft
Habit

The same cohort reacts repeatedly to the same format

Measured signals

Reaction retention on re-exposure · variance by format · time-slot stability

Question answered

“What refuses to change?”

EXPLORATIONDraft
Exploration

Unfamiliar angles draw question comments first

Measured signals

Comment/like ratio · share of question comments · comparison requests

Question answered

“Where does new demand open?”

03 · Data layer

Inputs and outputs

INPUT · Deploy
Creatives

N short-form videos · hook family · angle · format · length · subtitle language

Deployment conditions

Market · platform · time slot · budget · targeting width · round number

Sealed forecast

Per-creative reaction ranking · dynamics judgment · confidence (hash-sealed, client copy)

OBSERVED
Reaction events

Views · completions · likes · comments · saves · shares · profile visits — with time order

Comment text

Language · question ratio · comparison requests · sentiment (cohort-level only)

Redeploy variance

Reaction gap between two deploys of one creative → baseline

OUTPUT
Dynamics judgment

Per-creative mix of the four dynamics · confidence (high/medium/low)

Next hypothesis

1–3 angles to test next round · expected reaction ranking (sealed)

Report

Forecast vs. observed · against baseline · creative ranking — sent D+15

04 · Compounding

Forecasts that sharpen with every round

Repeating rounds in one market optimizes the dynamics weights for that market. The closer we get to the baseline (natural redeploy variance), the less room there is to improve.

What SEISMO does not do

What is unverified stays blank. The following is outside the model’s scope.

01
No individual identification

Every judgment is at cohort level. We do not track or store individual accounts.

02
No direct measurement of purchase conversion

Without off-platform sales data, results stop at reaction dynamics. Conversion is reported only when joined with client data.

03
No generalizing beyond the market

Dynamics learned in Japan apply to Japan only. Another market is learned again through redeployment.

04
No conclusions from a single deployment

Differences within redeploy variance are not counted as hits. The first judgment is reported after at least two rounds.
